Karen Cox joined ProviDRs Care in 2009 and is the Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, she is responsible for the overall operations of the company including product development, strategic planning and financial performance.

Karen’s experience spans over 30 years in the healthcare industry including positions as Regional Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and Vice President of Employee Benefits at IMA of Kansas. Karen’s areas of expertise include managed care, self-funding, risk analysis, business development, product development and process management.

Karen is a graduate of Wichita State University with a BBA degree in marketing.

Justin Leitzen, MHA

Justin Leitzen previously worked at ProviDRs Care from July 2013 through December 2015 as the Director of Contracting and Network Development.

Justin returned to ProviDRs Care in April 2017 as the Director of Network Innovations. He is responsible for the development and implementation of network strategies and value-based care initiatives.

Justin has more than 12 years in the healthcare industry with expertise in managed care contracting, Medicaid managed care, program development, value-based reimbursement, patient-centered medical homes, and clinical operations management.

Justin is a graduate of Kaplan University and has his Master’s in Health Care Administration.

Nikki Sade

Nikki Sade joined ProviDRs Care in 2005 and is the Director of Claims and Information Systems.  She manages the operations of the Claims Department ensuring customers receive the highest level of service across the industry.  Nikki’s role also includes the management of ProviDRs Care’s Information Systems to maintain a high level of data integrity and support for both our partners and internal operations.

Nikki originally joined the ProviDRs Care team in 2005 where she learned repricing, later transitioning to a shared role within ProviDRs Care’s parent company, Medical Society of Sedgwick County (MSSC), providing Information System support to MSSC’s subsidiaries.  Later, in 2010, Nikki returned to a full-time role with ProviDRs Care where she assumed the role of Director of Claims and Information Systems.

Jeanne Hingst

Jeanne Hingst joined ProviDRs Care in 2007 and is our Claims Manager.  As the Claims Manager, she oversees the daily operation of the Claims Department. She is responsible for resolving claims and network related issues for providers, members and groups. Jeanne participates on the Fee Schedule and HIPAA Compliance committees as well. She works closely with our Director of Claims and Information Systems to continually improve quality and performance of the network. 

Jeanne’s experience spans over twenty plus years in the healthcare industry, including working several years for a group of general-trauma surgeons as their certified coder/auditor, several years as a Senior Consultant providing consulting services to health care entities nationwide as it pertained to coding/billing/auditing/education and has worked as a Claims Department supervisor for a local hospital.

Kerry Johnston joined ProviDRs Care in 2018 as marketing and client services specialist. She is responsible for providing communications consultation, including planning, writing and graphic design. In addition, she will support new business efforts and client services.

Johnston will be the liaison between our employer groups, payers, brokers and ProviDRs Care. She will also help coordinate request for proposals (RFPs), new group set-ups, renewals, group and payer contracting and customer service questions.

Johnston has more than eight years working in a third-party administrator conducting corporate branding, marketing communications and sales support. In addition, she spent three years as an employee communications wellness consultant. Johnston earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with emphasis in advertising and public relations from Wichita State University in 1991.
