Network Alert! Newman Regional Hospital is No Longer in Network

Newman Regional Health, a hospital located in Emporia, Kansas, will no longer be part of the ProviDRs Care Network effective November 2, 2019. Contract negotiations between our two companies have reached an impasse and we are disappointed that we can no longer provide in-network benefits to our members who choose to seek care from this hospital. Our goal has always been to negotiate a fair reimbursement for our providers, is affordable for our subscribing health plans and is competitive with all other payers. Our agreement with Newman no longer meets those goals.

We very much regret the inconvenience you or your members experience as a result of this change. All other hospitals in Kansas and many in the Kansas City area are in ProviDRs Care Network. To search our list, please go to https://providrscare.net/find-a-doctor/ and follow the directions to search for facilities and hospitals. Please use your group number to enter the search or if you do not have a group number, you can use “PCN”.

Please note that this also applies to Newman Medical Equipment and Supply. To search for contracting durable medical equipment providers, follow the same directions above but search by specialty for “Durable Medical Equipment” providers.
