Johnston Joins ProviDRs Care

ProviDRs Care is pleased to announce the addition of Kerry Johnston as marketing and client service specialist. Johnston was hired in July 2018, providing communications consultation, including planning, writing and graphic design. In addition, she will support new business efforts and client services. Kerry will be the liaison between our employer groups, payers and brokers. She will also help coordinate request for proposals (RFPs), new group implementations, renewals, group and payer contracting, and customer service.

“Kerry’s vast experience in marketing communications has already proven to be a valuable asset,” says Karen Cox, chief executive officer. “The combination of her expertise and our current growth means her hire came at the perfect time, as ProviDRs Care is adding new services and expanding into new models of care.”

A prior communications specialist for Harrington Health, Johnston has communicated benefits and enrollment information to thousands of plan participants nationwide. Her efforts have supported both enrollments and wellness communications for clients’ employees, including creating materials to educate plan members by breaking down industry terminology to be more understandable by the layperson.
