Re: Notice of Contract Addendum
Medica Insurance Company (Medica), a payer partner with ProviDRs Care, will be offering Medica Prime Solution, a Medicare Cost Plan product that will be serving Medicare-eligible individuals in Kansas. Providers may have previously received information directly from Medica regarding this product. Medica will now use ProviDRs Care to contract with providers to participate in this Medicare Cost Plan product. Addendums to your current ProviDRs Care agreement will be sent to you over the next 30-45 days for signature. We ask that you sign and return the Addendums no later than October 1, 2019 to become a participating provider in this product. We have provided a brochure for additional information on the Medicare Cost Plan product.
Participation in Medica Prime Solution will not affect your current network status with ProviDRs Care, nor will it alter your current reimbursement for your current business with ProviDRs Care. The Addendum will be specific to ONLY the Medicare Cost Plan product with Medica.
