It has come to the attention of ProviDRs Care that some hospitals and medical providers in our network are inadvertently collecting medical payments from patients for unpaid Medova Healthcare (Medova) claims. ProviDRs Care would like to assist providers in their efforts to comply with their WPPA, Inc. Physician Provider Agreement and the Court’s June 3, 2021, Injunction Order by collecting Medova claim payments from the payer and not from the patients by providing the following updated information.
Claim Payment Status and Issues
As of July 1, 2021, Hawaii Mainland Administrators (HMA) took over the handling of Medova claim payments as well as any outstanding claim payment issues. HMA can reached by phone at (888) 811-8944 or by encrypted email to LifeStyle_Claims@hmatpa.com.
Notice of Injunction Against Medical Providers and Others Seeking to Collect Medical Payments from Members in Medova Lifestyle Plans
