ProviDRs Care is pleased to announce they have entered into an agreement with Medica, a Midwestern based, not for profit health insurance plan. “Medica is delighted to bring new and competitive choices in health insurance to Kansas” said Dannette Coleman, Medica senior vice president and general manager of individual and family business. The products will be sold under the name Medica Connect and will be available through the Kansas Health Insurance Marketplace for both on and off exchange. Medica offers a broad open access PPO network through our own ProviDRs Care Network.
Open enrollment started November 1st and ends January 31st. To learn more about Medica Connect, they are offering educational sessions in their Medica Provider College. We encourage business office personnel to attend this introductory session. The sessions are called Introduction to Medica for ProviDRs Care and Preferred Health Professionals Providers. This webinar will introduce providers in Kansas to Medica for the individual and family business (IFB) Medica Connect product. It will cover details such as the payer ID number, pharmacy, chiropractic care and behavioral health.

IFBMC-WJ1 for January 10th at 1:30pm-3pm
