ProviDRs Care Expands Network
ProviDRs Care, the only physician-managed preferred provider organization in Kansas, will fully implement its expansion of contracting hospitals in the Wichita area, effective January 1, 2013. In addition to its long-time partners Wesley Medical Center and Galichia Heart Hospital, the following hospitals will now be considered in-network for all patients utilizing the ProviDRs Care Network:
• Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis
• Via Christi Hospital on Harry (St. Joseph)
• Via Christi Hospital on St. Teresa
• Via Christi Behavioral Health Center (Good Shepherd)
• Kansas Heart Hospital
• Kansas Spine Hospital
• Kansas Medical Center
“We listened to our customers when they asked for more access and we’re pleased to be able to deliver more hospitals in the ProviDRs Care Network,” said Karen Cox, chief operating officer of ProviDRs Care.
Earlier this year, ProviDRs Care added the additional hospitals as an option for employer groups and insurance companies. This recent announcement means that all clients throughout Kansas can access these Wichita-area hospitals.
